The regeneration of an inner city area has been stimulated by European grant aid. The neglected windows have been restored to their former glory, and not only encompass the 'Ventrolla' perimeter sealing system but also the unique removeable system. This enables the sashes to be cleaned and painted internally thus avoiding the need for expensive scaffolding.

One of the windows was a complex Venetian style sliding sash which has been renovated to its former glory.
