Custom Timber door Moulding by Wessex Restoration

Profile Matching

The trick to renovating a heritage or listed property is in the detail. Matching a property’s original skirting board design is difficult for any property, but an exact match profile for a period property is impossible to buy off the shelf.

Our expertise lies in the conservation field, restoring and upgrading historic and listed buildings, not only involving window and door frames, but also in roofs and ancillary timber features.

Timber profile joinery

Wessex Restoration can replicate a wide range of historic profiles and can manufacture sills, skirting boards, architraves and all types of architectural joinery to match original profiles. We can reproduce the original design of any period timber profile from just a small , photo or sketch.

Not only can we manufacture and supply timber profiles, but we have many years’ experience fitting and replacing ancillary products, so you won’t be able to tell the difference between the old and new sections.
